Responsibilities

We are looking for an entry-level Claims Compliance Associate to join our Claims team.  In this role, you will be working with all claims departments and units to procure, maintain and track all necessary licensing and continuing education credits.  In addition, you will work with claims departments to research, dispute, and track any required fines and conduct internal audits. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Distributes necessary licensing paperwork and forms to applicants and ensures that appropriate state applications are completed in full and/or in a timely manner as per filing deadlines.
  • Ensures that existing licenses are renewed and meet current state and internal company compliance.
  • Ensures that required continuing education credits are completed timely by claims staff.
  • Distributes necessary study materials to adjusters.
  • Ensures that all license fees are paid and processed in a timely manner.
  • Schedules and confirms testing dates and coordinates candidate’s fingerprinting.
  • Researches and maintains claims licensing procedures and requirements for all lines of business.
  • Certifies quarterly licensing procedures are up to date and/or meet governmental regulations and legal requirements per the licensing state.
  • Works with claims departments on tracking, disputing or paying state fines
  • Completes internal quarterly audits on claims payments and procedures
  • Assists Claims team with other job responsibilities as assigned.
