Responsibilities

The Liability Auto Claims Representative is responsible for, but not limited to

 

  • Maintaining their caseload, email, voice-mail, and calls daily.
  • Identifying coverage issues, Investigating losses, Identifying fraud indicators, as well as accurately determine liability.
  • Negotiate liability and damages with involved insurance carriers, attorneys, and claimants.
  • Assist internal and external customers with claim resolution by phone, email, and through written correspondence, while providing a high level of customer service.
  • Obtaining and reviewing evidence, reports, medical records, and litigation materials in a timely manner.
  • Establishing and maintaining appropriate reserves.
  • Processing settlements and payments timely.

Qualifications

We are seeking experienced candidates with the following qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of prior experience adjusting personal or commercial auto injury claims 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and computer skills
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Experience handling caseloads of 200+  
  • Experience handling more than one State
  • Licensing a plus but not required
  • College Degree a plus but not required
