Responsibilities

The Producer Relations Advisor – Payroll Partners will collaborate with payroll partners, offering assistance in book management, basic underwriting support, and training to drive sales in alignment with company objectives for this business segment.

 

Duties include:

 

  • Ongoing product and procedural training and support for a rapidly growing payroll partner base with the objective of meeting predetermined goals for production
  • Encouraging sales productivity from individual agents while overseeing the quality of business in accordance with company guidelines and product offerings
  • Providing support to agents in meeting their submission and premium targets and goals
  • Working closely with Payroll Products Team in both Distribution and Underwriting with the objective of meeting common goals
  • Educating agents about GUARD's underwriting appetite, submissions procedures, and interactive Agency Service Center web site
  • Responding to a wide range of problems, assisting in agency appointments, and providing ongoing training to new and existing agents, including webinars to small and large audiences, as well as individual policy accomplishments
  • Communicating with Underwriting and assisting brokers with basic Underwriting questions and concerns
  • General housekeeping tasks related to maintaining compliance in areas such as licensing
  • In addition, this role will be responsible for seeking out opportunities to grow premium with each agent to reach common goals.
  • Contacts are made primarily by telephone and through email. Travel may be as often as every other month to support Underwriting and Distribution.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess a basic understanding of underwriting philosophies, claims handling, and payment procedures in the insurance industry, particularly in relation to Excess & Surplus lines. Additionally, they should demonstrate significant knowledge of the company's commercial and personal lines insurance products across various market conditions, along with proficiency in using GUARD's system and productivity software.
