The Coverage Attorney is responsible for conducting coverage investigations for commercial liability, professional liability, auto and property claims. The Coverage Attorney is also responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Acting as Corporate Representative for depositions in suits against the company
• Identifying coverage issues
• Drafting disclaimers, reservation of rights, rescissions, coverage letters, etc.
• Assigning panel counsel for litigated coverage matters
• Work closely with outside counsel on coverage matters
• Drafting coverage opinions
• Handling specialized projects as assigned by management

We are seeking candidates with the following:

• A candidate who possesses a J.D.
• Prior experience with liability, property and/or auto claims  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and computer skills
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize
