Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Marketing leadership team on creating and executing broad B2B
    marketing strategy to promote our commercial insurance products and services to agents
    and brokers nationwide
  • Help create and/or direct content (copy/design) for various marketing channels,
    including: web, social media, email, print, presentations, and video to enhance product
    and brand visibility
  • Collaborate with team to develop and implement special campaigns, marketing calendar,
    monthly newsletter, editorials, and thought leadership for agents/brokers
  • Help coordinate and support off-site events with creative ideas relative to sponsorships,
    presentations, company “merch”, and branding to engage agents/brokers
  • Help plan a schedule of webinars for product launches and agent/broker product training
  • Collaborate with key agent/broker partners on co-branding initiatives aimed at accelerating
    insurance products into the market
  • Analyze market trends and agent/broker sentiment to identify opportunities and “wants” in
    order to recommend adjustments to marketing and broader GUARD strategies/activities
  • Collaborate with sales/distribution, underwriting, and other departments to ensure a
    consistent and unified message across all channels as well as continuing education of
    available marketing resources

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 7-10 years of prior experience in insurance marketing or a related field
  • Excellent communication, writing, and design skills
  • Understanding of the commercial insurance market
  • Self-motivated with ability to take charge and lead a team through development and
    execution
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously
    while maintaining a keen attention to detail
  • Skills: Advanced Microsoft Office, Intermediate-to-Advanced Abode InDesign/Photoshop
  • Familiarity with full Abode Suite and/or video production, email marketing, and/or web
    design a definite plus!
