Responsibilities

The Marketing Campaign Specialist is responsible for developing and executing targeted email campaigns to engage agents, brokers, and policyholders. This role ensures effective communication of company products, services, and updates through wellcrafted email strategies. By leveraging data analytics, segmentation and A/B testing the specialist optimizes campaign performance to drive engagement and business growth.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Produce and execute email campaigns for agents/brokers and policyholders, including building emails from templates and HTML, copywriting, asset coordination, QA, and scheduling.
  • Review analytics/reporting and collaborate with marketing team to drive performance of campaigns.
  • Leverage knowledge of segmentation, A/B testing, predictive analytics, and business intelligence to improve campaign performance and optimize results.
  • Manage and execute an email marketing calendar and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee and maintain contact lists and implement list-cleaning practices to maintain data quality.
  • Support strategic programs via manual and triggered campaigns that help educate our agents/brokers and policyholders on GUARD’s appetite, products and services.
  • Compliance: stay updated on email regulations (CAN-SPAM) and ensure compliance.
  • Work with Director to research, maintain and share competitive and industry information.
  • Cross train on a variety of tasks within the Marketing department to serve as backup as needed.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or communications
  • 5+ years of prior experience in marketing or a related field; commercial insurance experience a plus
  • Experience with email marketing, SMS, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and CRMs
  • Excellent communication, writing and design skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, HTML, CSS, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with email marketing automation platforms
