Intern

Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies’ Internship Program has a two-fold mission.  We want to give students a chance to learn by applying academic skills and knowledge to business situations, and we want to acquire qualified, talented, and motivated individuals eager to take on special projects.  All Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Internships are paid positions, and many of them have evolved into permanent employment with a variety of benefits and no ceiling on growth potential.  As an intern in our accounting department you will be learning key fundamental business skills. You will be working in an incredibly fast moving business, and have the opportunity to make valuable contributions. 

In the Accounting Intern position you will be assigned to work on projects mainly with accounts receivable, accounts payable, admin accounting and statutory accounting. In accounts payable the intern would be responsible for vendor invoice imaging, vendor invoice processing, vendor bank information verification and other projects as assigned.
