Berkshire Hathaway GUARD is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our dynamic Accounting & Finance Team.

We’re looking for a self-motivated, adaptable, and energetic team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. In addition to core accounting and reporting responsibilities, this position will play a role in developing innovative solutions to business challenges, making it an excellent opportunity for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare reports, make general ledger entries and verify the accuracy of journal entries and resulting balances
• Analyze and prepare periodic account reconciliations and analytics demonstrating initiative in resolving reconcilement issues
• Provide superior customer service to both internal and external customers
• Ensure compliance with key internal control procedures
• Identify, research, and resolve billing and processing issues in the central billing system with timely follow-up
• Reconcile receivable accounts on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis
• Prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
• 2-5 years of accounting experience, with a strong emphasis on accounts receivable
• Experience reconciling receivable accounts on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and efficiency
• Insurance accounting knowledge is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; experience with Oracle Fusion financial applications is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting demands
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Salary Range:

$45,000 - $70,000
