Responsibilities

Join our Early Intervention Unit (EIU) as a Claims Supervisor and lead a team managing lost time workers’ compensation claims across multiple jurisdictions. You’ll ensure timely, compliant claim handling, guide investigations and compensability decisions, and drive operational excellence through collaboration and continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team handling workers’ compensation claims.
  • Oversee timely investigations and compensability decisions.
  • Monitor claim progression, reserves, and accurate benefit calculations.
  • Conduct monthly file audits to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Identify training needs and provide coaching to team members.
  • Use dashboards to track productivity and support return-to-work initiatives.
  • Communicate process updates and foster team engagement.

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Equivalent experience in insurance, risk management, or related field, or a bachelor’s degree.

  • 3+ years of workers’ compensation claims experience or comparable leadership experience.

  • Strong knowledge of state-specific regulations and claims handling.

  • Ability to lead teams, analyze data, and communicate effectively.

  • Proficiency in claims systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Active adjuster license.

Preferred: Multi-jurisdiction experience and familiarity with return-to-work tools.
