Responsibilities

This role serves as the critical bridge between product creation and successful product implementation. The Product Enablement Manager ensures new and revised insurance products are launched effectively, accurately, and compliantly. This position owns product readiness across systems, tools, and forms, ensuring underwriters and operational partners have reliable, accessible resources to support successful adoption.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the implementation of new and revised products (rates, rules, forms) from the business side of the company, ensuring compliance
  • Own UAT for product changes and implementation, ensuring they are accurately reflected in our systems
  • Own the development and maintenance of a forms library, including form usage and attachment logic
  • Own post-launch testing and quarterly audits for forms, rules, and rates
  • Define KPIs to measure product adoption, efficiency, and enablement success (e.g., error rates, underwriting feedback)

 

Forms Library Management and Other Product Tools

  • Own the development and maintenance of forms library
  • Ensure forms are up to date; include usage rules and attachment logic
  • Maintain version control
  • Partner with Filings team to ensure compliance
  • Maintain a centralized repository of current product resources as needed

 

Product Readiness and User Acceptance Training (UAT)

  • Own and manage UAT for all new and revised products (rates, rules, forms), ensuring system builds reflect product intent
  • Work with Product Development to ensure state-specific variations and endorsements are clearly communicated and understood
  • Develop and execute UAT test plans and scripts in collaboration with IT, UW, and Home Office Underwriting
  • Track and resolve UAT issues, ensuring readiness before product rollout
  • Serve as final checkpoint for product accuracy in rating, forms, and rules prior to market release

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Collaborate with Underwriting to ensure forms and guidelines are clear, usable, and aligned with underwriting intent.
  • Partner with State Filings and Compliance to confirm all enablement materials reflect approved language.
  • Work with IT and Operations to validate that product changes are accurately implemented in systems.
  • Support Claims by assisting with product updates informed by claims feedback and roundtables.

 

 

Feedback & Improvement

  • Gather, track, and synthesize user feedback post-launch to inform future product iterations and changes.
  • Lead or participate in post-mortems or retrospectives after major launches.
  • Maintain and evolve a best-practices playbook for product enablement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with concentration in Risk Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Math, Statistics or Actuarial Sciences
  • 5 + years of Commercial Product or Underwriting experience.
  • Must have knowledge of industry trends, state regulations, and compliance processes.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills; attention to detail
  • Must be comfortable and proficient working in a matrixed environment, with stakeholders at various levels and in various departments.

 

The successful candidate is expected to work in one of our offices 3 days per week and also be available for travel as required.
