Responsibilities

The Product Development Manager will collaborate closely with the product development leader, playing a pivotal role in the development of new products and the maintenance of existing lines of business. The position can be located in either New York, NY, Parsippany, NJ, Atlanta, GA, Philadelphia, PA or Wilkes Barre, PA. 

  • Assists in the development, drafting, and enhancement of forms and forms language, including strategic input and actionable recommendations.
  • Support the design, development, and implementation of system and process solutions that align with the forms implementation strategy. 
  • Collaborate with training and marketing to develop communication, training, and marketing materials in support of new or enhanced products and initiatives.  May require delivery of training materials or content.
  • Conduct competitor intelligence research.
  • Demonstrate awareness of each state’s regulatory environment and legislative rules to ensure that compliance standards are met.
  • Document, maintain, and version control forms attachment logic.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Business Analysis Unit for the purposes of ad-hoc analysis to support strategies and initiatives.
  • Creates, maintains and version controls templates, documentation and schedules for underwriting audit.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with concentration in Risk Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Math, Statistics or Actuarial Sciences, (J.D. preferred but not required)
  • 5 + years of Commercial Product or Underwriting experience.
  • Must have knowledge of industry trends, state regulations, and compliance processes.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills; attention to detail
  • Must be comfortable and proficient working in a matrixed environment, with stakeholders at various levels and in various departments.

 

Salary Range

$103,000.00-$180,000.00 USD + bonus

In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, this range represents a good‐faith estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, credentials, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law. 

 

This role may be based out of any of our office locations, including:
New York, NY; Parsippany; Conshohocken, PA; Wilkes‑Barre, PA; Alpharetta, GA.
