In this role, you will analyze, design, and optimize end‑to‑end workflows that power our core operations - working at the intersection of business, technology, and data to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and experience.

This is a highly visible, cross‑functional role for someone who thrives on problem‑solving, brings a strong sense of ownership, and enjoys turning complexity into clarity.

What You’ll Do

Process Analysis & Optimization

  • Map and document current‑state processes across core and supporting P&C insurance functions.
  • Perform root‑cause analysis to identify operational friction, inefficiencies, handoff issues, and sources of waste or leakage.
  • Design future‑state workflows that reduce manual effort, improve cycle time, and enhance quality.
  • Apply continuous improvement methodologies to deliver tangible, measurable outcomes.

Data & Performance Insights

  • Analyze operational performance metrics including cycle time, throughput, productivity, severity, leakage, quality, and customer experience indicators.
  • Partner with data teams to interpret trends, surface insights, and prioritize improvement opportunities.

Technology & Automation Enablement

  • Collaborate with Technology and Product teams to define business requirements for system enhancements and workflow solutions.
  • Identify and assess opportunities for automation, including RPA, AI/ML, straight‑through processing, and digital self‑service.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure operational readiness for new releases.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with business leaders, managers, and frontline teams to understand pain points and opportunities.
  • Facilitate process discovery sessions, workshops, and working sessions.
  • Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring solutions align with enterprise strategy.

Change Management & Implementation

  • Develop rollout plans, training materials, and communications to support adoption.
  • Monitor post‑implementation performance and refine solutions as needed.
  • Embed changes into standard operating procedures and governance frameworks.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Data & Analytics, or related field.
  • 3 plus years of experience in process improvement, business analysis, or operations
  • Property & Casualty (P&C) experience is a must-have
  • Proven experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Miro).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including working with operational data.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate at all levels.

Preferred

  • Experience with core insurance platforms—policy, claims, billing.
  • Experience using Power BI and SQL to analyze operational data, develop performance dashboards, and support data‑driven process improvement initiatives
  • Familiarity with RPA, workflow automation, or AI/ML applications in insurance.
  • Exposure to regulatory and compliance requirements in P&C insurance.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies (certification a plus).
  • Experience supporting Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban)
