Underwriting Analyst - Commercial Lines

The Underwriting Analyst position provides the opportunity to work closely with our agency partners and evaluate risks for Workers’ Compensation, Businessowners’, Commercial Auto, and Umbrella policies for small businesses. • Utilize company underwriting criteria to evaluate risks for various lines of business
• Ability to work independently
• Perform independent verification of insured's operations
• Review and process change requests on in-force policies
• Evaluate in-force policies at renewal
• Develop relationships with agencies
• Participate in Underwriting Training for new products, directives and processes
• Travel regularly to agency offices

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
• Prior insurance related experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a service-centric environment, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Candidates should have investigative skills and be comfortable using the Internet as a research tool
